Our language is our greatest treasure and, in addition to its great lexical richness, it is the second language in the world by number of speakers. The Spanish language has become a reference vehicle for communication and language professionals from international organizations, in which Spanish is used, need a repertoire that includes all the technical terms of all the engineering disciplines.For this reason, the Royal Academy of Engineering of Spain presents the mobile application of the Spanish Engineering Dictionary, DEI, which our institution has developed with the aim of promoting technical language and knowledge. It is an accessible, reliable and complete application, with the purpose of being a reference tool for the following communities:· Specialists: engineers, technicians, technical writers and professionals related to Engineering in general.· Undergraduate and postgraduate students, training in their specialty.· Linguistic mediators: translators, interpreters, specialized journalists, communication experts, etc.The DEI application offers an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. We have integrated an intelligent search function that allows users to quickly find the terms they need, saving them time and effort in their daily work.Our app offers additional features including: the ability to add custom terms to your own favorites list, the option to save recent searches for future reference, and the ability to share terms and definitions with colleagues and fellow students via social networks and messaging platforms.In addition, to keep up with technological advances and the demands of our users, the application will be updated regularly with new additions of terms, keeping the content up to date.The Royal Academy of Engineering of Spain, aims to promote excellence in all aspects of engineering.The application of the Spanish Engineering Dictionary is a tool for all those who are passionate about Engineering.
